The Modern “Nasties”?

After making the Drive VHS mock up that I posted yesterday, I’ve got the paint shop fever…

So, here is a series of mock ups that i’ll be updating now and then for no reason whatsoever other than I enjoy fannying around in paint shop for hours on end.

So here are a selection of recent horror films, that if the video nasties outbreak was happening today, would probably be getting branded as “obscene”. But as a groovy/boss/tasty/radical little twist, here they are presented as VHS releases circa 1984 on the labels that released the original nasties.

  1. Nice list! A Serbian Film is definitely considered obscene, and banned in some countries! The movie’s wild, but I hate censorship. It was excellent filmmaking. Good post 🙂

  4. Thank you, sir! Got a couple more to go up soon, although I could do with one more…I was going to do one for Hostel, after all it was quite controversial…but I just can’t bring myself to do it, because I hate it so much hah.
